At first sight, in this house there is nothing special: a usual two-storeyed brick facade with the balcony which is propped up by columns. But if to bypass a structure from a reverse side, then it will become clear that it has no other walls, and instead the huge earth hill is filled. This unusual building has been designed in 2006 in the city of Klinton (the State of Maryland, the USA) by the Formworks Buildings Inc company., who specializes in construction of the environmentally friendly houses hidden partially or completely under an earth layer. This energy efficient mansion can sustain practically any weather. From above it is covered with a meter layer of the earth, and on each side thickness of a layer reaches 7,5 meters that provides excellent isolation.
